これキャラごとに役割が割り当てられてて謎解きやらの要素もあってかなりの良作なんですけど何したらいいのか全然分からない物も多いですよね。自分も当時は未知のエリアに着いて何かありそうと思いながらもやはり何が必要なのか何をすればいいのか分からずクリアできませんでした。

お疲れ様です。
これに限らず当時のゲーム（主にRPG）は「解けるもんなら解いてみろ感満載の難易度」が基本で「ノーヒントでトライアンドエラーの地獄道」で道を探して見つけてが基本でしたからねえ…（他のゲーム（他社）のシステムがヒントになったという某氏の言葉もある位だったんですから）
この辺りの反省から「イースシリーズ」が生まれたって話を聞いた事ありますね。
「RPGは優しさの時代へ」だったかそんなキャッチコピーで生まれて「絶妙に解ける難易度」を目指して作ったとか。

これと前作に当たる「ロマンシア」は前述の極致で今も有名ですから。

外に出た後のBGMの冒頭部分、いかにも「さぁ、これから旅立ちだぞ」というワクワク感やらの雰囲気が出ていて、凄く良かったですよね～。

クリアお疲れ様でした！本作は子供の頃に従兄弟のお兄ちゃんに少し遊ばせて貰った程度しか知らなかったたのでラスボスの強さにビックリです。
神BGMもいっぱい聴けるし今度リサイクルショップに行った時には探してみます。

これクリアが物凄く大変で、だからこそ思い入れのあるソフト。攻略本とか買えず、ノートに手書きMAP書いたりしてクリアしたから友達に自慢してたなあ。懐かしいw

盾不使用のクリアすごいですね。
ポチは理論的には使わなくてもクリア出来るけど、ポチ面の王冠前ミミックは一撃必殺なのでヒトキャラだとかなり厳しいですよ。

オヤジゾーンは慣れるとホントに自在に動かせるようになるからね
対岸に渡るトコ、広いスペースあるから左右の部屋から石全部集めて3〜4文字くらいの文字列作って遊んだりしてた
ジャンプボタン押しながら接触するとその時押してる十字キーの方向に移動させるのだから慣れると斜め上下とかにも動かせるようになるし動かさないのも出来るしで楽しくなっちゃうんだよね
1日ずっと石こねくりまわすとかもやったことあるw

おおお、懐かしい。
子供の時は進み方がわからなくてポチでダンジョン内をずっとウロウロしていましたね。
大人になってからプレイしてパパ面パズルで何回もやり直した記憶がよみがえりました。

MSX版だとボスそれぞれにBGMがあって、アークウィンガー戦は神曲でした。
