ぶっちゃけ対戦勢が全体のどのくらい居るかは分からないけど、ポケモン本編はストーリー以外だと対戦面がコンテンツを盛り上げる重要な要素なんだし(実況者さん達の努力もあって)そういう所で不便や不具合は出るべきじゃないと思うんよね。

ストーリークリアして話題から忘れ去られる様なゲームで終わらない為にも対戦というコンテンツの盛り上がりは必要不可欠だと思う。

カジュアルでは疑似乱数の生成に使う値が固定になってて、パスワード付きの対戦だと使う値が異なるから再現しないってのはありえそう。だとすれば値を変えるだけなので修正自体は難しくないはず。
ただ本当にそうだとすると、同じロジックで違う値を元に生成した結果が比較できてしまうから、そのデータを利用して解析が進みやすくなってしまったかも？乱数を予測できちゃうような最悪な自体にはならないで欲しい……
