I think losing the first game really affected Leo, he played really well on game one, but in game two and three he just played way worse, props to Acola for beating him anyway too, he played really well. it’s sad for Leo to leave so soon, but I’m sure he’ll win his next major.

Honestly though dubs to the four that beat Leo this tournament. The Gluto one was close, but against AK riddles and Acola the difference in form was obvious. It was a discipline if nothing else. Leo will have to start tryharding again, I don’t think he’s the kind of dude who can just show up and play.

Acola is just simply the best, he adapted so well and after losing against Leo in the previous tournament, he went beyond his level and smashed him 3-0. Congrats!

Something about Leo in recent times feels off. Like he makes more mistakes then he usually does. Obviously players are catching up to him but I hope Leo finds the spark again

I can see Leo’s character crisis affecting his tournaments in a big way. like no way he went from 3-0ing Naetoru with Meta Knight to losing with Byleth 0-3
